Peggy Landini, OTR/L

Peggy Landini has been a licensed occupational therapist in private practice in Northern California for more than thirty years. She has worked for school systems, California Children’s Services, in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation hospitals, and home health agencies.

For the past four years, Peggy Landini  has  specialized in the treatment of adult incontinence and pelvic floor disorders. She provides services at a hospital as well as a gynecologist’s office (http://www.drspecialtycare.com/landini.html).  More than 80% of her patients are able to significantly reduce, or eliminate altogether, incidents of urinary incontinence.  She is available for individual, confidential consultations via Skype or telephone–just go to our Contact Us page to schedule an appointment.

Peggy has treated more than 300 patients, and this area of practice is a true passion for her.  She is constantly impressed with the progress her patients show, and by how much their quality of life improves as their management of urinary incontinence improves.

Peggy was part of a medical mission to Africa in 2009.  She traveled to the country of Chad with Paula Dhanda, M.D., and some of the staff in Women’s Specialty Group gynecology office.

For ten days, the team performed surgeries to women who had fistulas, a medical condition from bearing children at a very young age and results in fecal incontinence.

The women afflicted with fistulas are typically ostracized by their family and community, and as a result of the surgical repair they are able to reclaim their lives and social standing.    Peggy was extremely moved by the entire experience and hopes to return soon on another mission to Africa.
